2026 Wait List Update #5

Thank you for your patience throughout the waitlist process and for the time and care you invested in your application to Emory University. We are truly grateful for your interest in joining our community.

After carefully monitoring our enrollment, we have reached capacity for the Class of 2030 at both Emory College and Oxford College. As a result, we are unable to offer admission to any additional students from the waitlist.

We understand this is disappointing news, particularly after the uncertainty of the waitlist process. This decision is not a reflection of your accomplishments or potential. Each year, we receive applications from far more highly qualified students than we have space to enroll, making these final decisions especially difficult.

If your interest in Emory remains strong, we encourage you to consider applying as a transfer student after completing one or two years at another accredited college or university. Many students successfully join the Emory community through the transfer process, and we would be pleased to review a future application.
